Who I am and why I’m doing this…

Aloha, my name is Asia Olsen. I’ve been a resident of Hawai‘i island since 2004. Since my arrival, through my teenage years and into adulthood, cacao and chocolate has been the fascination and love I just keep coming back to. Like myself, the Hawaiian cacao industry has gone through some changes, and I’d really like to not only explore it to my heart’s content, but document it and share this unique moment in this changing industry’s time with all who care to know about it. I want to see and meet every grower and maker I can!
